NOT Better the Second Day

Okay, so apparently I have a delayed reaction to bee-stings. It doesn't hurt but my wrist is swollen up like an inner tube and ITCHES constantly, and badly enough to drive me right out of my tiny little mind.

Thank God for Benadryl. G'night.

  1. aren't there people out there who actually get themselves stung to relieve joint pain and arthritis?
I hope you feel better by now.

  2. I have friends that are bee keepers and one of them told me the more times he got stung, the less pain and swelling he got. Now he say that he gets no reaction at all when he gets stung. I hope it will be the same for you.

  3. Too bad you didn't get stung in the knees, you could test that idea of it being good for your joints. I'm so curious, not curious enough to want to get stung though.
And yes, thank god for benedryl, that and ibuprofen. I would give up ALL other modern conveniences before those two.

  4. It's true this one was less than the first one but this bee didn't get as much venom in me so can't really compare.
