A couple moves from the big city to the countryside and starts a small farm...wait, you've heard this premise before? What? Trite? Hackneyed? But, I have goats. Really cute pictures of tiny baby goats. And cheesemaking recipes. We slaughter our own pigs and cure our own bacon! Well, that's in the master plan, anyway. Just read it, you'll see.

Rainin' in Paradize
...Song on the tremendously awesome album Radiolina by Manu Chao. Also a descriptor of what is happening here.
It is raining like nobody's business. It is raining like the end of the world. It is raining like I don't even know what.
The crisp, cool, beautiful days of fall are gone, and now the season of rot, mud and darkness has begun.
We had hell rain last week, and the coulds look like the toxic flatulence of an angry god at the moment, but we remain dry for now.
ReplyDeleteToo bad...I wasn't able to cancel my run.
