A couple moves from the big city to the countryside and starts a small farm...wait, you've heard this premise before? What? Trite? Hackneyed? But, I have goats. Really cute pictures of tiny baby goats. And cheesemaking recipes. We slaughter our own pigs and cure our own bacon! Well, that's in the master plan, anyway. Just read it, you'll see.
Have been catching your weather...and the insanity of it all. We were gonna head up to Seattle (where were from) but not chancing the weather. ?? Mud galore, huh?
The weather isn't that bad now, it's really back to plain old winter in Seattle, but just a few degrees colder than normal, so we keep getting slushy snow. What's kind of amazing is the sheer volume of precipitation. I haven't checked but it's probably way over normal. Yeah, better to skip seattle for now I think. Come in September, that's usually a nice month.
Now be fair there Aimee, it isn't all mud. Some of it is Pig Shit.
