Goat farmers in our area who do this thing for a living disbudded our baby boy and did a fabulous job. $10 is their fee, or they offer to teach you for free. That is something I am not ready to learn yet.sunset pines farmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04826327863570459271noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7009967346802541581.post-51911565732247242422010-03-29T06:22:10.203-07:002010-03-29T06:22:10.203-07:00Aimee-

We will be raising an eating turkey this spring and I am trying to find someone who will do the deed for us. Our meat processor won't-they only do large animals.sunset pines farmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04826327863570459271noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7009967346802541581.post-28880506431164345552010-03-28T15:38:16.607-07:002010-03-28T15:38:16.607-07:00Gorgeous kids! But of course mine do t have horns. Some people say. That having hoe
s makes them more aggressive. Berryvone - do you live in an area with a high Hispanic population? We soon found out why it was given away !! Chain to tether him included with the deal.
THEN....soft hearted me, I didn't like the idea to keep her on a chain for the remainder of her life, and let it off. Biggest mistake I ever made. Having to walk backwards every time I ventured outside, armed with a big stick because she would run up and bunt me in the behind with her enormous horns. Cured me from keeping goats for ever. Can laugh about it now but it wasn't funny then.Olivehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14389835614289815501noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7009967346802541581.post-46523511156654550422010-03-27T21:43:28.680-07:002010-03-27T21:43:28.680-07:00Those are some beautiful baby goats! Those are some beautiful baby goats!Jenniferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17664824920459341153noreply@blogger.com
